But a big return of serve gets her back to deuce before a brilliant backhand winner brings up another break point.

Fair play to Anisimova, who has bounced back from that earlier rally to bring up a break point.

She chases down the shot at the net but can only return into the barrier.

She has a little think about bashing her racquet into the net in frustration but thinks better of it.

Good shot from Anisimova, a cross-court winner to the corner of the court to take us to deuce on the Maria serve.

Anisimova looks absolutely gutted as she completely dictates the point from the baseline, sending Maria back and forth.

But the German is sending absolutely everything back over the net. The crowd are living every shot as Maria somehow scrambles to every ball and eventually frustration gets the better of Anisimova and she overcooks the forehand.
