Oscar Wilde’s life reimagined in dystopian musical

Oscar at the Crown has landed in London.

The immersive musical-rave, set in a post-apocalyptic nightclub, has taken New York and Edinburgh by storm – and now it’s lighting up the capital with glitter and rebellion.

In 1895, Oscar Wilde was arrested over his relationships with other males following the collapse of a libel case the Irish author and playwright brought against the Marquess of Queensberry. Today, Wilde is revered by many as a gay icon.

Staged in a purpose-built bunker beneath Tottenham Court Road, the show takes place a hidden world.
