It took 10,000 hours to create the Wangong Sedan Chair. This elaborate wedding carriage, adorned with little figures, fruit and animals, was an important tradition for brides at the start of the twentieth century. Art Historian Alastair Sooke met with Professor Fan Peiling to discover the story behind its decadent design.
