Due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 incidents in the USA in recent weeks, many universities have decided to return to distance education again.
More than 70 universities in 26 states announced that they will continue their second cycle education online.
Harvard University announced that distance education will be held in the first three weeks of the new year and that it will return to campuses at the end of January if conditions improve.
The University of Chicago, on the other hand, announced that it will delay the start of the second period for two weeks, while the first 2 weeks will be online classes.
Other schools that will turn to distance education include universities such as George Washington, Yale, and Columbia.
