Travel restriction from France to England

French Government Spokesperson Gabriel Attal said in a statement on BFMTV channel that PCR or antigen tests will be requested from the passengers arriving from England in the last 24 hours as of 18 December.

Stating that these passengers should be isolated for 7 days upon their arrival in France, Attal emphasized that travel from England to France can only be made in essential cases.

Attal shared the information that the number of incidents related to the Omicron variant in the country has increased to 240, saying that the border with England will be controlled more strictly.

Yesterday, “the highest number of incidents this year” was reached in the UK, with 78 thousand 610 thousand COVID-19 cases detected in the last 24 hours.
